Tiny Trends is proud to say we helped get our first safe haven baby box started in Roswell, New Mexico.
My name is Victoria Jobe and with the help from my sister in law Antionette and my husband Angelo, I gained the courage to just stop watching Monica open all these baby boxes around the US and actually start one in my very own city!
Safe Haven Baby Boxes mission is to prevent illegal abandonment of newborns by raising awareness, offering a 24-hour hotline for mothers in crisis and offering the Safe Haven Baby Boxes as a last resort option for women who want to maintain complete anonymity.
Roswell’s baby box location is at the Central Fire Station Located at 200 S Richardson Ave. Behind Foxworth Galbraith, home improvement center. (Formally the do it center)
A Special thank you to Roswell Council Juliana Halvorson & Cristina Arnold for their dedication on bringing this baby box to life!
If you are a mother in crisis & don’t have access to a baby box please drop off your child at to STAFF at local Hospital, Fire station or Police station. Under the New Mexico Safe Haven For Infants Act saves you from being prosecuted and "abandoning" your baby. If your baby is under 90 days old & is healthy.
Thank you for making one of the hardest decisions of your life.
I will leave some information below about the baby boxes and how to get one started in your own city!
